What is it exactly?

Light is divided into visible light and non-visible light. Non-visible light includes light in the ultraviolet range (UV) and the infrared range.

At the lowest end of the spectrum of visible light sits blue-violet light. Blue light is everywhere because it’s in sunlight, as well as digital screens, fluorescent and LED lighting. It’s far less harmful than UV – it would take months of continuous exposure (without blinking!) for blue light to cause any damage to your eyes.

This is because your eyes regenerate and repair themselves everyday when you rest.
